Anatomy of a Security Failure

After the dust settles after a security breach, the next logical questions are: What happened and how can we prevent it from happening again? We will deconstruct a number of security failures that will provide lessons that you can take home and put to use immediately.

President's Message:

Happy 2021 everyone.  All of us at NEMUG are wishing you a healthy and happy New Year!

We would like to thank Jim Mason, Senior Architect at Sky Web Team for joining us for out last virtual NEMUG meeting on August 26th.  He spoke on "Everything SQL" and we learned some great techniques from his presentation and examples.

For the 2021 year we will again try to have some virtual meetings until things get back to some type of normalcy.  Please join us again on January 27th for another NEMUG Virtual Meeting.  This month we have a great speaker, Steve Pitcher who is a Systems Engineer at iTech Solutions and a regular speaker at COMMON.  He will join us to present his "Anatomy of a Security Failure" presentation which will keep you wondering if you need a Security Assessment.  Join us at 5:30 pm for networking - the Speaker will start at 6pm.
